My India Journey has started from Delhi. The Indira Gandhi International Airport welcomes you to India. New Delhi is the national Capital of India. As a new traveler it is better to learn local language – Hindi, Punjabi or Urdu. Delhi has Utter Pradesh and Uttarakhand on its east and the state of Haryana Borders it o all other sides. Old Delhi is largest commercial center, and differ type of goods like automobile parts, electronics goods, leather items, sports equipments software etc. are manufactured here and transported all over India. Major Industries are built along the river side of Yamuna. Delhi is the largest center of small-scale industrial units. Five national high ways pass through Delhi. The Delhi Rail junction is one of the most important Rail junctions in north India. In the Rail Station’s Book shop you can by a Delhi City Travel guide and information about where to stay and where to visit. From Delhi you can start for the state of Uttaranchal. The state capital of Uttaranchal is Dehradun. Uttranchal is bordered by Himachal Pradesh and China on its north, Tibet and Nepal on its east. The main cities in Uttaranchal are Chamoli, Nainital, Almora, UttarKashi, and Pauri. There is a collection of a numbers of Holy Rivers of Hinduism like Ganga, Yamuna, Bhagirathi, Mandakini, and Alaknanda. Other places of tourist interest are Hardwar, Rudraprayag, Kedernath, Badrinath, Yamnotri, Gangotri, Mussoorie. The people interested in wild life can also travel the Corbett national Park to experience Indian safari trip. The state is full of natural beauty and resources like silver, lime stone and graphite. The main language is Garhwali, Hindi and Pahadi. Main crops are wheat and rice and fruits like apple and mango are available here in abandon. Everywhere in the state you’ll find a lot of Hindu Temple or Mandir in large and small size. Before 9th November, 2000 the state was a part of Uttar Pradesh and on that day it become the 27th Indian State.
