The security arrangement was very top class and any kind of unfair incidents was not happened anywhere. The telecommunication infrastructure of this place is not so good. The BSNL Mobile network doesn’t work in the interior parts of Kanchanpur like Kedachara. Sometime the Airtel network finds the signals from the top of the hills. The Assam Rifles made their camp in this place and working like some good friends of hill people. The local Kedachara High school is the only two storied building in the locality. The school was established in 1951 near Lungai River. Only 4 teachers run the school and half of them alternatively change their duty. The tribal people are highly hospitable and friendly.

Kedachara is nearly 70 KM way from Kanchanpur and nearly 3 hour journey by Jeep in Most Hilly roads. There are lots of U-Turns in the roads to climb the Hill. The Tribal people welcome any jeep when it crosses their locality. The PWD has made those roads in such a difficult circumstance. The rural electrification has done using the solar energy and Thermal electrification.
