In the first day of the first test match on 26th March South Africa managed to scored more than 300 runs with the loss of just 4 wicket. Captain Graeme Smith, Neil McKenzie all these two batsman completed their half century which is a strong 1st innings build up for any team. The satisfactory part of first day was that in blowing department Indian spinners got some advantage as the ball move a little.
